Ensuring Smile n Shine is easily accessible and convenient for potential and existing patients is one of our top priorities.
Thomas Hannah was working nearby and noticed the ease with which our patients were accessing the practice through both private and public transport. When his granddaughter announced she was getting married, he knew that it was time to address his own dental situation if he was going to comfortably eat at her wedding and smile for the photographs. Instinctively knowing that Smile n Shine would be the best practice for the work, he made an appointment to discuss his requirements which necessitated complicated dental surgery and new dentures.
He was nervous and wanted to understand the journey and what to expect…
We understand the patients’ perspective and will always explain the process and are readily available to answer all questions and until the patient feels comfortable to pursue. If a patient would like extra time for discussion and reassurance, we have a full remit of procedures and resources to facilitate the necessary time. Each patient is unique, and our systems are flexible to meet individual needs.
We were very pleased when Thomas returned after the initial consultation to book the appointments. We knew about the wedding so together with Thomas, we worked out an appropriate plan and timeline that would be comfortable.
Under sedation, Dr. Ketan successfully removed Thomas’ root stumps. Dr. Bhavika created and restored his smile with both an upper and lower set of dentures.
Within a few weeks, the full process had been completed and with ample time for the family event. He had a perfect set of dentures and was able to relax, eat normally and confidently smile. His mantlepiece now proudly displays the terrific photographs of the family wedding and Thomas’ proud smile.
Everybody congratulated the bridal couple and Thomas’ new teeth.
