Dr Rujuta Deshpande qualified from Mumbai, India in 2006 and continued to work in the
surgical/ Maxillofacial Department in the hospital for 2 years.

She now works as a General Dental Practitioner/ Implant Dentist with special interest in Implant
dentistry and is currently studying Masters Specialism MSc in Implantology.

With over 16 years of experience, Rujuta has undergone extensive training in the field of
Implants and Cosmetic dentistry. Rujuta places 100-150 implants annually.

This has proven to benefit her patient’s dental health and confidence. Her calm, composed and
organised nature reflects in her work specially when she is treating nervous patients.

Just had a tooth removed at Smile n Shine. I was very worried before the extraction as I had a previous bad experience with another dental practice some years ago. I considered sedation to calm my nerves but decided in the end not to go done this route. It was a justified decision as Dr Ketan Panwalkar was amazing. I felt no pain and the whole procedure took only 10 minutes. The support staff are polite and efficient. I can highly recommend this dental practice from my own experience.

I am very anxious at the dentist and I have been going to the same place since I was a kid before it was Smile n Shine. I must say, the transition has been made seamless and the practice is beautiful now. Haleema sorted everything for me and made sure that everyone knew how anxious as I was and were able to accommodate me. A meeting before my appointment occurred as well with Geethika who talked through everything with me and assured me everything would be okay. When I was with the dentist Dr Bhavika Parekh, she was lovely, accommodating, patient and didn't force me into doing anything. I successfully had 2 fillings and will be going to the Hygienist there soon. Highly suggest for anyone scared, even deathly afraid of the dentist. These guys are a perfect first step! 🙂
