Dr. Bhavika Parekh

Dr. Bhavika Parekh is a highly skilled and dedicated dental professional with over two decades of experience in the field of dentistry. She is qualified as a dentist in India in 2000 and gained hands-on experience in oral surgery before becoming a practice principal in 2001. Over the next five years, she played an active role as a principal dentist, treating patients and successfully managing the administration of a team of associate dentists and specialists.

In 2006, Dr. Parekh moved to the UK with her husband, Dr. Ketan Panwalkar, and took a career break to spend time with her newborn baby. After returning to her profession, she pursued her statutory exams in the UK and completed specialized courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Dermal Fillers, Lasers, Invisalign, and SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).

Dr. Parekh has worked in various dental practices, both private and NHS, providing general dental treatments and sedation as an associate dentist. She is currently the Principal Dentist at Smile n Shine Dental Practice and, along with her husband, owns another dental practice in Amesbury. She has extensive expertise in managing both practices and is passionate about general dentistry and smile designing for patients who are unhappy with their smiles. Her special interests include composite bonding, injectable composite moulding techniques, veneers, dentures, crowns, and bridges.

Dr. Parekh is currently pursuing her diploma in clear aligners and regularly practices teeth alignment using Invisalign. She is committed to continuous professional development and clinical governance, ensuring she stays updated with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the best care for her patients.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Parekh enjoys spending time with her 14-year-old son, her family, and her golden retriever, Waffles. She also has a keen interest in cooking, travelling, dancing, and choreography.
